JIRAN JAPAN has updated EXO Security, its endpoint security product for businesses, and introduced multi-factor authentication for administrator logins. It has also integrated accounts and enhanced functionality to reduce the operational burden.
An update to EXO Security, an endpoint security product for businesses, allows users to choose between OTP authentication and PIN authentication when logging in to the administrator portal. This enables organizations to strengthen account security and select an authentication method suited to their operating policies.
The update integrates administrator and user accounts into a single account system. Users can configure password generation and change rules, login restrictions and account-unlock procedures, helping to improve security while standardizing operations.
Security functions have also been expanded, including improvements to web protection and web filtering. These logs are classified as warnings, blocks and other categories, making it easier for administrators to assess the situation. On macOS, users can also report false positives and request reassessment.
Device and application controls have also been strengthened, allowing individual settings such as USB device controls. The display of file-encryption functions has been improved, making personal-information protection measures clearer. Operational functions for checking device information and security logs have been expanded, while remote agent updates and notification functions have also been added.
