Razer has announced the Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz as the world’s first low-profile analog optical esports keyboard. It will launch in Japan in September at a tax-inclusive price of ¥37,980.
Razer Japan announced the low-profile analog optical esports keyboard “Razer Huntsman V3 Pro Low-profile Tenkeyless 8KHz” on August 21. Marketed as the world’s first low-profile keyboard of its kind, it is scheduled to launch in Japan in September. The price is ¥37,980 including tax, and availability through the official website and select retailers has already begun.
The newly developed “Razer Low-profile Analog Optical Switches” are at the core of the keyboard, with an adjustable actuation point ranging from 0.1 to 2.8 mm. Rapid Trigger Mode resets the key immediately based on key movement rather than at the reset point, while the low-profile design reduces key travel to 2.8 mm. The keyboard also features True 8000 Hz HyperPolling, with an average latency of 0.39 ms reported in test results said to give it an advantage over competing models.
Advanced Input Control makes its debut in this series. Razer Snap Flex assigns 2 actions to a single key, while Dynamic Keystroke enables up to 4 actions depending on actuation depth. When combined with Instant Cancel Control, the feature can immediately cancel unnecessary subsequent actions.
The model has also reportedly achieved results in competitive play. At BLAST Bounty Season 2, Spinx of MOUZ used the unreleased product to win the tournament. Spinx was also reported to have received the HLTV MVP award.
The keyboard is designed for extended use, with a front height of 19.5 mm and a sound-absorbing structure intended to combine a smooth typing feel with high responsiveness. It also supports Razer Synapse Web, alongside the announcement of its Japan launch.
The price is ¥37,980 in Japan, US$229.99 in the United States and €259.99 in Europe. Sales are currently expanding mainly through Razer.com and RazerStore, while the Japan launch is scheduled for September.
