Fitcrew Inc. will acquire 5 VALX GYM locations and enter the 24-hour gym business. The companies signed a basic agreement on a capital and business alliance, aiming to expand an integrated healthcare platform by combining its existing strength in women-only gyms with SV's supplements and other products.
Fitcrew Inc. announced on 5 October 2026 that it would acquire 5 VALX GYM locations operated by VALX株式会社 and had signed a basic agreement on a capital and business alliance. The locations are in Musashi-Koyama, Mizonokuchi, Chofu, Kinshicho and Fukuoka Tenjin, marking Fitcrew Inc.'s entry into the 24-hour gym business.
As the market becomes increasingly polarised between low-cost gyms such as ChocoZAP and high-value-added gyms such as Anytime Fitness, Fitcrew Inc. aims to expand its business portfolio by combining specialised services, including its existing women-only personal gym UNDEUX SUPERBODY, with new business areas.
The alliance will focus on diversifying store operations and creating synergies. By integrating Fitcrew Inc.'s operating capabilities with VALX's brand strength and digital expertise, the companies aim to optimise new-customer acquisition costs and maximise lifetime value.
Going forward, the companies aim to accelerate diversified expansion in the healthcare and fitness fields by integrating physical store operations with digital products, and to establish a comprehensive health platform.
