It was announced that the Steam version of 『Yusha Rogue』 will release on 31 October 2026. The game is being developed by independent creator Dorasa (どらさ), with official announcements made through the game's X account, and is planned for release on Steam, iOS and Android. The price had not been decided as of the time of writing.
The game is a classic turn-based roguelike dungeon RPG made as a tribute to 『Mystery Dungeon』. Players explore dungeons where the terrain changes each time and make their way to the exit. Emphasis is placed on responsiveness and pacing, with brisk movement, auto-dashing, the Pot of Synthesis and meat that transforms the player into a monster among its distinctive features.
The video showcases techniques beloved by 『Mystery Dungeon』 fans, including rapidly farming arrows with traps, quickly digging through walls and attacks that use pillars of fire. It also shows a scene in which defeating the shopkeeper panda by “roasting” it raises power by +10, revealing the creators' affection for fans of the spin-off series of Shiren the Wanderer.
The game is also scheduled to be exhibited at the indie game exhibition “Tokyo Game Dungeon 14” on the day of release, offering fans both its humorous details and the appeal of the roguelike genre.
