A project led by 東京サンロッカーズ and Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd. to demonstrate a new public viewing service has been selected for the Japan Sports Agency’s Sports Open Innovation Platform Promotion Project.
東京サンロッカーズ and Tokyu Construction Co., Ltd. are jointly developing a new public viewing service that brings the spectator experience into the community. The project has been selected for the Japan Sports Agency’s FY2026 Sports Industry Growth Promotion Project, specifically the Regional Revitalization and Sports Revenue Expansion Project Utilizing Technology and Other Means (Sports Open Innovation Platform Promotion Project).
The project will test whether broadcasting games at restaurants and commercial facilities used in everyday life, together with productions that synchronize video, sound and lighting with the flow of the game, can provide the excitement and sense of immersion of attending an arena. It aims to create new points of contact with existing fans and expand opportunities to watch away games.
Going forward, the project will analyze its findings from multiple perspectives, with the aim of enhancing fan engagement and establishing a sustainable co-creation model in which clubs, fans, facilities and communities can all share value.
