To assess the state of cybersecurity, the report interviewed the Information Infrastructure Center at Fukuoka Institute of Technology. The center showed a threat map visualizing cyberattacks around the world and explained that nearly 9,000 attacks had been observed in the 15 minutes from 9:00 to 9:15. It also indicated that attacks from China were particularly numerous.
The situation has heightened anxiety in the local community and increased concern over the handling of personal information.
