Against a backdrop of rising overseas demand, Takeuchi Manufacturing, headquartered in Sakaki Town, will build a new factory in Aoki Village. Construction of the new factory is under way with operations scheduled to begin in 2028.
In 2025, the company acquired approximately 28,000 sq. m. of land adjacent to its existing factory in Aoki Village for the new facility. A groundbreaking ceremony was also held, and the president emphasized plans to strengthen production of the company's flagship product, crawler loaders.
As demand for construction equipment rises amid housing shortages and aging infrastructure in North America and Europe, Aoki Village is looking forward to the new factory becoming operational. Once operational, the group's production capacity is expected to expand to 1.3 times its current level.
