ニコニコレッカー, which operates primarily in the Yokohama and Kawasaki areas, entered into a business alliance with 日本ロードサービス (JRS) on 16 July 2026. The alliance aims to strengthen its support structure by combining locally focused service capabilities with a nationwide network.
ニコニコレッカー, operated by 株式会社MIC, has provided locally focused roadside services primarily in the Yokohama and Kawasaki areas. By entering into a business alliance with 日本ロードサービス株式会社 (JRS), it aims to shorten on-site arrival times and improve service quality. The alliance was formally concluded on 16 July 2026.
The alliance is intended to combine ニコニコレッカー's local capabilities with JRS's nationwide network as the locations and circumstances of vehicle breakdowns become increasingly diverse, enabling stable support across a broader area. This is expected to improve the speed and reliability of emergency response.
JRS has 9,700 locations nationwide and provides services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. By combining ニコニコレッカー's local response capabilities with JRS's broad-area infrastructure, the companies will work to create an environment in which customers can use their vehicles with confidence.
Looking ahead, MIC has indicated a policy of diversifying its car-life support business and strengthening collaboration in areas such as rental cars and car leasing. Through the alliance, it aims to continuously improve on-site response capabilities and service quality.
