Assured and PwC Consulting have begun collaborating to enhance supply chain security by combining cloud service security assessments with visibility into business partners’ security.
Against a backdrop of growing cloud service adoption and increased collaboration with business partners in recent years, the importance of managing security across the entire supply chain has increased. To address increasingly sophisticated attack methods in the AI era, an assessment framework based on continuous risk visualization and practical operations is required.
Under the collaboration, Assured’s expertise in third-party assessment platforms will be combined with PwC Consulting’s consulting expertise in cybersecurity, governance and risk management, providing end-to-end support from planning through operations and improvement.
The collaboration will involve joint support and joint service development. The parties will consider a service model integrating the assessment and visualization of contractors and business partners with new assessment perspectives for the AI era, while also raising market awareness through seminars and the dissemination of information.
Going forward, the parties plan to advance joint projects and give concrete shape to joint service development, with the aim of improving the effectiveness of supply chain security.
Comments from Atsushi Omori, Representative Director and President of Assured, and Takanori Kohashi of PwC Consulting indicate an intention to integrate both parties’ expertise and provide end-to-end support through practical operations.
