Accenture and Google Cloud have established the Accenture Gemini Enterprise Business Group to expand customer outcomes in the era of agentic AI. Backed by joint investment from both companies, the business group will create an organization capable of driving large-scale AI adoption using Gemini Enterprise.
The organization will be built on approximately 50,000 people, combining Accenture specialists with Gemini Enterprise certifications and engineers with Google Cloud skills. In addition, it will establish a forward-deployed engineering (FDE) organization of approximately 1,000 people. It will also strengthen implementation support and execution capabilities by drawing on industry expertise.
In the Japanese market, the group will focus on 4 areas to accelerate Gemini Enterprise adoption and value creation: 1) structuring organizational knowledge, 2) understanding current business processes and transforming them with AI, 3) improving productivity through the use of multimodal AI and edge devices, and 4) establishing a cybersecurity foundation for the era of AI agents.
As an example of its results, the companies cite the deployment of Gemini Enterprise agents during periods of high demand for YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket, which reduced average response times by 37% and improved customer ratings by 11%. Accenture and Google Cloud have indicated that they will accelerate enterprise-wide adoption of agentic AI by further strengthening their partnership.
