After trading ended on 30 September, Nissha revised downward its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026. Revenue changed from ¥198 billion to ¥195 billion, operating income from a ¥7 billion profit to a ¥3.3 billion loss, and net income from a ¥3.2 billion profit to a ¥6.2 billion loss.
The revision was attributed to the lack of an expected recovery in demand for tablets during the second half. In addition to the goodwill impairment loss recognized in the first half, the impact of demand trends and higher production-related costs in the decorative materials field worsened earnings.
At the same time, the company released the delayed results for the six months ended June, reporting revenue of ¥96.033 billion, down 1.0% year on year, an operating loss of ¥4.5 billion, and a net loss of ¥5.473 billion.
