The food floor on the first floor of Celeo Hachioji North Building will fully reopen after renovation on 26 November. A total of 50 stores, comprising 19 new stores and 31 renovated existing stores, will open in stages, including Ukai Group's general merchandise shop Yorimichi Ukai in December.
The renovation focuses on a full refurbishment of the east side of the food floor on the first floor of Celeo Hachioji North Building. On Thursday, 26 November, a total of 50 stores, comprising 19 new stores and 31 renovated existing stores, are scheduled to open in stages. The renovated area will feature confectionery, prepared foods and grocery sections, with local established stores, new formats and long-established stores from across Japan set to open.
The new stores will include Yorimichi Ukai, Ukai Group's first general merchandise shop, which will open in December and offer permanent sales of products from Atelier Ukai and Restaurant Ukai. Other new stores include Hachioji-born La Crea and Chiffon Cake Copain, as well as Tengu-yaki, Kaldi and Nadaman. This marks an expansion beyond the group's previous sales formats into a store directly connected to the station.
The new event space and related events have also been announced. The Hachioji and Tama Sweets & Gourmet Fair will be held at the new event space on the first floor from 26 to 30 November, with 11 stores taking part. Freshly prepared deli foods and the distinctive taste of Hachioji ramen will be served at the venue. During the opening period, benefits will include a campaign offering double JRE POINT rewards and a capsule lottery for customers with receipts from the day. A limited sale of Passion Fruit Lager is also scheduled.
