A survey conducted by NEXTAGE Co.,Ltd. in July 2026 covered 300 men and women nationwide who had sold a personal vehicle through a trade-in or outright purchase within the past 5 years. Ease of the process was cited by 44.3% of respondents, followed by the desire to obtain a higher price at 22.0% and trust and peace of mind at 12.3%. In terms of satisfaction, ratings were high for the process at 77.0% and peace of mind at 78.3%, while 35.3%, the largest group, said they were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied with the sale price.
According to the survey, 54.0% of respondents, the largest group, decided after comparing only one company before selling, while approximately 29.0% compared multiple companies. The most common regret was not comparing prices sufficiently, and 29.0% said they would consider comparing multiple car-buying companies next time.
