Hankyu Umeda Main Store has opened Schiaparelli's ninth store worldwide on the sixth floor in Hankyu Luxury. The store carries highly exclusive items, including the Fall/Winter 2026 collection, and features an interior focused on personalized service.
Hankyu Umeda Main Store has announced the opening of Schiaparelli's ninth store worldwide and its first in Japan on the sixth floor in Hankyu Luxury. The store is characterized by the brand's highly exclusive offerings and specialized lineup.
The store is arranged in a salon-style format, with separate areas devoted to clothing, bags and jewelry. It displays brand-signature items, including clothing featuring key and keyhole motifs and select bags. As at the flagship stores in Hong Kong, London and New York, the interior emphasizes personalized service.
Schiaparelli was revived by Chairman Diego Della Valle after the brand had been suspended in the 1950s, and now operates in major locations worldwide, including its Paris flagship. Hankyu's decision to open the store is said to reflect its assessment of the environment, which features flagship stores of major fashion houses.
Hankyu expects the brand to offer distinctive fashion propositions, with its future sales policy expected to emphasize the lineup and exclusivity.
