As part of its reopening, マックスバリュ 西風新都店 installed 10 self-contained glass-door display cases, “Furieco.” The store was smartly renovated with a side-panel-free design that enables linked installation, improving visibility in the frozen-food section.
マックスバリュ 西風新都店 reopened after renovation on 18 July 2025 and installed 10 Mitsubishi Electric self-contained glass-door display cases, “Furieco,” in its frozen-food section. The models supplied were from the SV-JF series: 2 SV-JF682JRVA-S units, 2 SV-JF682JRVA-R units, 5 SV-JF782JRVA-R units and 1 SV-JF882JRVA-R unit.
The aim was to create a sales area that would improve product visibility and create a more open feel through linked installation without side panels, while taking advantage of the environmentally conscious natural refrigerant and high energy efficiency. Installation was handled by ORIX CORPORATION.
Following the renovation, customer feedback highlighted benefits including “the ability to present products attractively through the cohesive appearance of the linked cases and the interior lighting” and “the ability to increase the number of products displayed by eliminating dead space.”
The introduction of the self-contained display cases is expected to enhance the appeal of the entire sales area through clear product visibility and improved energy efficiency.
