中本パックス announced a revision to its first-half earnings forecast, significantly raising its first-half ordinary profit forecast from the previous estimate. It also indicated that it expects to raise its full-year forecast and dividend.
中本パックス raised its forecast for consolidated ordinary profit for the six months through the second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 (March-August) from ¥1.65 billion to ¥2.48 billion, a 50.1% upward revision. The figure was approximately ¥1.46 billion in the same period of the previous year, with profit showing strong growth on improved margins and higher sales.
At the same time, the company changed its full-year consolidated ordinary profit forecast from ¥3.45 billion to ¥4 billion, a 15.9% upward revision, further increasing the projected profit growth rate. Reflecting strong first-half performance, it further lifted its previous forecast for record-high profit.
The company changed its first-half dividend for the current fiscal year from ¥37 to ¥41 and its second-half dividend from ¥37 to ¥41. The annual dividend is expected to be ¥82, an increase from ¥71 in the previous fiscal year.
The company explained that it expects net sales to exceed its initial plan for the fiscal year, driven by rising raw material costs, the pass-through of printing-material costs, and earlier order placement amid stronger demand. It also indicated that it will continue working to improve profit margins by increasing production efficiency and diversifying procurement.
