OWL OPTICAL, a Japanese snow-goggle brand, will launch Flow XL and other new products for the 2026–2027 season, including new colors for the Vent and Flow lines and models equipped with JAPOW TUNE lenses. Preorders will begin sequentially on the official website from 1 September 2026.
JAPOW TUNE is a lens designed for overcast conditions, blizzards and midwinter in Japan’s mountains, combining visibility in cloudy conditions with terrain definition in flat light. Its photochromic range is centered on a bright 40–70% band, allowing up to 75% light transmission and dropping to 15% in clear skies. Red Green and Purple Red mirror coatings are also available, narrowed down from 5 specifications to 2.
Flow XL will be available in all colorways, in 2 types: framed and frameless. Both types are priced at ¥27,500 (including tax). New colors for Flow and Vent, as well as accessories including spare lenses, insert frames and goggle socks, will also be offered. The sales schedule and colorways will be released sequentially on the official website.
