アルコニックス raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027. Revenue was raised from ¥265.0 billion to ¥300.0 billion, operating profit from ¥14.7 billion to ¥20.5 billion, and net income from ¥9.2 billion to ¥13.0 billion. The dividend forecast was also raised from the current ¥95 to ¥102 in total for the interim and year-end dividends. As a result, the share price narrowed its decline and briefly moved into positive territory.
The revisions appear to have been influenced by sustained strength in nonferrous metals markets, supply concerns over rare metals and aluminum stemming from China’s export restrictions and the situation in the Middle East, and continued demand for recycled materials as a special-demand factor for securing inventories. Strength in semiconductor-related business also reportedly lifted performance across all segments.
The company also announced results for the six months ended September, reporting revenue of ¥152.45 billion, operating profit of ¥13.496 billion, and net income of ¥10.402 billion, representing substantial increases from the same period of the previous year.
