Against a backdrop of demand for more attractive and durable residential exteriors, ニチハ is expanding the Premium Series’ design range. As part of this initiative, it is using next-generation inkjet coating technology to add approximately 16 designs.
The new Estella Layer GS Premium exterior wall product has been launched. It provides 60-minute quasi-fire-resistant performance and is available in a diverse lineup of 6 colors, including oak with the feel of a barrel and cement-effect finishes.
Next-generation inkjet technology converts designs into data and prints them in multiple colors. It is said to reproduce the realistic texture and varied appearance of natural materials.
The product uses Moen Excelard, a base material incorporating wood chips made from domestically sourced timber, with the aim of fixing CO2 and contributing to the environment.
Following the April 2026 revision of the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Calculation, Reporting and Disclosure System (SHK system), the product is expected to be recognized as an eligible product for emissions calculation.
