Sales of Oettinger aero parts for the facelifted VW Golf have begun in Japan, with the products going on sale on 28 August. キザス, Oettinger's authorised Japanese importer, has announced the line-up for the Golf 8/GTI/R.
Oettinger, a long-established German tuner, has announced that it will begin selling aero parts for the facelifted Volkswagen Golf in Japan. キザス, its authorised Japanese importer, has made the products available in Japan in conjunction with the domestic rollout of the Golf 8 generation. Until now, Oettinger's official line-up of aero parts for the Golf 8 had not been finalised for the Japanese market.
Oettinger places emphasis on harmony with the vehicle's design. Its design philosophy is to enhance the sporty character of the GTI and R without significantly altering the factory design. The new line-up follows the same approach, adding volume to the lower section of the body while making use of the factory bumper design to accentuate the GTI's sporty character.
A dedicated front spoiler is available for the facelifted Golf GTI. It uses the lines of the factory bumper while highlighting the car's sporty character. For the Golf R, the line-up includes a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser wing and roof spoiler, among other parts, allowing the front, rear and sides to be combined for a cohesive look.
The products available for sale in Japan comprise 3 parts for the Golf 8/8.5 GTI, namely a front spoiler, rear diffuser and roof spoiler, and 5 for the Golf 8/8.5 R: a front spoiler, side skirts, rear diffuser wing, roof spoiler and roof spoiler wing. Compatibility varies by product and model year. Prices and further details are available on the official Oettinger Sportsystems Japan website.
