NAKANISHI MFG. CO.,LTD. made a corporate hometown tax donation to Zao Town, Miyagi Prefecture, and an appreciation certificate presentation ceremony was held on 28 September. The donation is expected to be used for the town’s community development promotion project, contributing to community interaction and industrial development through the development of children’s play areas.
NAKANISHI MFG. CO.,LTD. (TSE Standard: 5941) made a donation under the Local Revitalisation Support Tax System, also known as the corporate hometown tax scheme, to the Zao Town Community, People and Jobs Creation Promotion Project promoted by Zao Town, Miyagi Prefecture. The company announced that an appreciation certificate presentation ceremony was held on 28 September.
The donation is intended to contribute to community interaction and industrial development in line with the company’s SDG declaration, and is to be used for the revitalisation of local resources, including the development of play areas. Zao Town is implementing regional revitalisation projects using donations from supporting companies, with the aim of supporting child-rearing and improving the living environment.
NAKANISHI MFG. CO.,LTD. began by selling alminium tableware for school lunches and has provided kitchen equipment for many years. In 2022, it introduced a scheme under which the company pays the school lunch fees of employees’ children, among other child-rearing support initiatives.
The donation is expected to contribute to 3 areas as a fourth item: improving the quality of education, reducing inequality, and creating sustainable cities and communities.
