EDGE Industrial Technologies has acquired Harvest Blade to strengthen its nationwide regrinding rollout. By integrating Harvest Blade's Salinas operations with EDGE's Red Lion operations, the company will be able to provide blade regrinding services nationwide.
EDGE Industrial Technologies announced that it had acquired Harvest Blade. The acquisition will expand the coverage of EDGE's blade regrinding services nationwide and is expected to strengthen its value-added services in the food-processing sector.
Harvest Blade is a privately held company based in Salinas, California, that provides blade regrinding services and supplies new blades, primarily for food processing. The acquisition will deepen EDGE's regrinding expertise and complement its network of locations in the United States.
Following the integration, EDGE is expected to be able to regrind nearly all types of blades nationwide, accelerating business growth in the food-processing and packaging sectors. EDGE CEO Josh Sleigle said the integration represented an important milestone and that the company aimed to deliver differentiated value to customers.
The transaction is aligned with the growth strategy of EDGE investor Falfurrias Management Partners. The integration of Harvest Blade's regrinding and service capabilities with EDGE's product portfolio and global resources is expected to strengthen the foundation for future growth.
