After trading ended on the 14th, QPS Holdings revised its full-year earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending May 2027. Revenue was kept unchanged at ¥10.00 billion, while operating profit was revised upward from the previous forecast of ¥300 million to ¥2.00 billion, ordinary profit from ¥2.00 billion to ¥3.20 billion, and net profit from ¥1.90 billion to ¥2.70 billion.
The factors behind the revision are said to include the non-recording of approximately ¥1.2 billion in subsidy-eligible R&D expenses and a decrease in satellite depreciation expenses versus the plan, with lower costs expected to push up profit. In addition, approximately ¥500 million in subsidies related to research and development is expected to be recorded from the following fiscal year onward.
