Dyson held its UNVEILED event in Berlin, Germany, on 3 September local time, showcasing new products for the European market, including air purifiers, vacuum cleaners and hair straighteners. Jake Dyson, the chief engineer who spoke at the event, introduced CameraJet as the product attracting the most attention.
The new robot vacuum cleaner models included a flagship model with UV sterilization and models equipped with an automatic dust-collection dock. A stick-type wet vacuum cleaner was also included in the lineup. The venue also featured a demonstration combining dust disposal and charging for a conical brush.
CameraJet was introduced as a new mechanism that uses a 1 mm² miniature camera and AI image analysis to detect gaps between teeth and perform high-precision water flossing while brushing. Dyson explained that it calls the product “CameraJet” rather than a “toothbrush” and aims to provide new support for oral health.
The air purifiers feature a design using a HushJet nozzle and an electrostatic filter, and the flagship model was positioned as offering enhanced purification performance in large spaces. The design shares features with the company’s handheld fan launched first in Japan, and a lineup of 3 models was presented.
