SOUNDPEATS has launched the open-ear ear-cuff-style CC3 Pro in the United States and other markets. It features a two-driver configuration with a 12 mm driver for bass and a 9 mm driver for treble, along with LDAC support and Bluetooth 6.0. The U.S. price is $69.99.
The CC3 Pro offers up to 10 hours of playback from the earbuds, or up to 44 hours with the charging case. Charging is supported via USB-C and wirelessly, and the earbuds have an IPX6 water-resistance rating. The lightweight design weighs 5.5 g per earbud, and features include multipoint connectivity and a dedicated app. Overseas testing has also reported that playback time may be shorter when LDAC is used.
The Japanese launch has not been announced as of now, and it is unclear whether the product will be supported in Japan. Those importing the overseas version for personal use need to check whether it bears Japan's technical compliance certification mark. Overseas Amazon sites are cited as a possible source for buyers in Japan, but no information on official domestic sales has been released.
Readers waiting for domestic availability are also being shown alternative products available in Japan, including the Shokz OpenDots ONE and Anker Soundcore AeroClip.
