In United’s second-quarter (interim) results for the fiscal year ending March 2027, revenue declined year on year, while operating profit, ordinary profit and interim net profit turned positive. The full-year earnings forecast was left unchanged.
According to the consolidated second-quarter results for the fiscal year ending March 2027 released by ユナイテッド, revenue was ¥4.012 billion, operating profit was ¥87 million, ordinary profit was ¥63 million and interim net profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥227 million, all representing a return to profitability. In the year-earlier period, the company recorded an operating loss of ¥690 million, an ordinary loss of ¥720 million and an interim net loss of ¥626 million.
Revenue declined because subsidiaries in businesses under development were excluded from consolidation and because of the impact of business transfers, despite increased sales of investments in the investment business. On the earnings side, higher profit from the investment business, together with the exclusion from consolidation of businesses that had recorded losses in the year-earlier period, contributed to the return to profitability.
The full-year consolidated earnings forecast was left unchanged, with revenue projected at ¥7.800–8.200 billion, operating profit at ¥0–200 million, ordinary profit at ¥0–100 million and net profit at ¥0–50 million.
