Italian diver’s watch brand UNIMATIC has announced its Japan-limited JDM collection. Based on the UC2 and UC4, the special models feature rubberized leather straps and will be released in limited quantities of 10 pieces each, with sales beginning at a pop-up store at Isetan Shinjuku Store.
Italian diver’s watch brand UNIMATIC has released its Japan-limited JDM collection. The collection comprises 2 models based on the UC2 and UC4, featuring designs inspired by Japanese culture from the 1980s and 1990s.
Both models use the new rubberized leather strap material. The UC2 comes with a neon yellow strap, while the UC4 comes with a neon orange strap. An all-black rubberized strap is also included, and the quick-release function makes it easy to change straps.
The special specifications include a tin case for storing the rubberized leather strap, limited-edition stickers and an official tough case. These features unique to the Japan-limited collection are expected to attract collectors’ interest.
Sales will begin at the UNIMATIC POP-UP STORE in the Men's Building at Isetan Shinjuku Store from 12 to 25 August. In addition to the new models, a broad selection of the classic collection and other limited-quantity models will be available. A campaign will also offer official tough cases to the first 20 customers.
