On 2 October 2026, KOMORI CORPORATION acquired all shares of 丸山チラー株式会社, making it a wholly owned subsidiary, and changed the corporate name of 丸山チラー to KOMORIプレシジョンテクノロジーズ株式会社. Against a backdrop of growing demand for AI semiconductors and business diversification, KOMORI indicated that it would strengthen its business base in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment sector.
The newly established KOMORIプレシジョンテクノロジーズ has a track record in the development, design and manufacture of chillers for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, with strengths in high-precision temperature control technology for custom-made solutions and international safety-standard certifications. KOMORI plans to use its own resources and global sales network to strengthen the production system inherited from 丸山チラー and meet demand worldwide.
Four overseas companies, including Risshi America, Inc. in the United States and 台湾小森精密科技股份有限公司 in Taiwan, are also scheduled to change to the "KOMORI" brand in succession as part of the global integration of the brand.
Going forward, the company is expected to expand its scope from printing machinery into precision manufacturing, including upstream and downstream processes in semiconductor manufacturing, and strengthen its business base with global semiconductor and equipment manufacturers by pursuing synergies between substrate manufacturing equipment and chiller technology.
