Nagoya Railroad announced that it will sell the “Toyokawa Inari Unveiling Ticket” to coincide with the unveiling at Toyokawa Inari. The sales period is from 1 to 23 November, during which the hidden Buddhist image will be unveiled for the first time in 72 years since 1954.
The image to be unveiled is the hidden Toyokawa Dakini Shinten. A sacred connection pillar will be erected in front of the main hall, and visitors are said to be able to create a connection with the hidden Buddhist image by touching the pillar. The sacred connection pillar will be linked to the principal image placed before the hidden Buddhist image by five-colored cords symbolising virtue, according to the explanation.
The special website is also scheduled to provide information on local cuisine and other attractions, along with related information during the event period.
