Sumitomo Metal Mining Co.,Ltd. reported significant increases in revenue and profit in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027 and raised its full-year forecast. Meanwhile, the recent share price continued to trend downward.
According to the earnings report released on 10 August 2026, revenue and profit rose significantly in the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2027, driven by higher non-ferrous metal prices and a weaker yen.
