ZenGroup is stepping up support for regional companies seeking to develop overseas sales channels as part of the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s “feel NIPPON” program. Participating businesses were recruited from April through June, with a total of 24 businesses from 8 regions across Japan taking part. On 1 September, a dedicated “feel NIPPON” page was launched within the cross-border e-commerce marketplace ZenPlus. Going forward, the company will also promote sales using its overseas promotion service “ZenPromo” and expand initiatives to deliver regional products to overseas markets.
The participating regions and businesses comprise 8 regions—Osaka, Izumi, Kobe, Takarazuka, Tokushima, Sabae, Uozu and Moka—and a total of 24 businesses. The participating products range from curry and seasonings to good-luck items, lacquerware, glass products and wooden products. Each business will leverage the characteristics and expertise of its region to take on overseas markets. Through the dedicated page on ZenPlus and ZenPlus’s support infrastructure in Japan and overseas, the initiative will provide an environment covering multilingual support, overseas payments, international shipping and customer support.
