日本CMK raised its full-year forecast, citing growth in driving-safety products as a key driver. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, it expects revenue of ¥110 billion, operating profit of ¥5 billion and net profit of ¥3 billion.
日本CMK announced after the market closed on the 5th that it had revised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027 upward to revenue of ¥110 billion, up 9.8% year on year, operating profit of ¥5 billion, up 79.3%, and net profit of ¥3 billion, down 25.5%. The revision represents a substantial increase from its previous forecast, and the company's shares have reacted strongly. Growth in the mobility and new-business areas is expected to provide the backdrop, with driving-safety products in particular forecast to lead growth.
First-quarter results for April through June were revenue of ¥27.191 billion, operating profit of ¥385 million and a net loss of ¥149 million. The company swung to a loss from a profit in the same period a year earlier, affected by foreign exchange losses and an increase in corporate income taxes and other taxes.
