U.S. space company SpaceX announced its first earnings results since listing. Revenue for the April-June 2026 quarter rose sharply year on year, while net income turned into a loss of approximately $500 million.
SpaceX released its earnings results on the 4th, local time, for the period from April through June 2026. Revenue rose 92% year on year to $7.814 billion.
According to the earnings announcement, quarterly revenue was equivalent to approximately ¥1.2 trillion, making this the company’s first earnings report since listing. However, the company reportedly posted a net loss of approximately $500 million for the same period.
The announcement suggests that although SpaceX is growing businesses across multiple areas, including expansion into the AI sector, it has yet to achieve profitability because of the burden of investment and development costs. Attention is focused on future earnings trends and the company’s detailed disclosures to investors.
