ALBIS Co.,Ltd.'s Italian Fair began at all stores on the 18th, offering a wide range of cheeses and wines imported directly from Italy for customers to browse. The fair continues through the 31st.
The fair has been held since 2022 to showcase the appeal of Italian cuisine, inspired by Uchikawa's reputation as the Venice of Japan.
At the opening ceremony at the Oshima store, Mayor Natsuno Motoyuki (夏野元志) gave an address, ALBIS Co.,Ltd. President Ikeda Kazuo (池田和男) said, “We hope this will provide an opportunity to offer a rich selection of food,” and Giampaolo Bruno, Director of the Trade Promotion Department at the Embassy of Italy, participated.
