The 9/16 PTS daytime session (08:20–16:30) ended with 2,543 stocks trading after the TSE market close. Compared with TSE closing prices, 1,222 stocks rose and 1,208 fell, indicating that buyers prevailed.
Among Nikkei 225 constituents, 128 stocks rose and 93 fell from their closing prices. The NEXT FUNDS Nikkei 225 Leveraged Index-Linked Exchange Traded Fund was bought aggressively, rising ¥260.
The top performers in the PTS percentage-gain ranking included ミタチ産業, 四国銀行, ミライロ, レダックス and 電算, with ミタチ産業 particularly strong at approximately 13.8% above its closing price. The top decliners in the PTS percentage-loss ranking included AGS, デンヨー and モノタロウ, all of which fell sharply.
There were no significant changes in the PTS gainers and decliners rankings for Nikkei 225 constituents, suggesting that moves in individual stocks may have driven the broader market.
