At its FY2026 fourth-quarter earnings briefing, Micron Technology reported record revenue of $54.2 billion and indicated that tight demand for AI memory is expected to continue. The next-quarter revenue guidance was set at $61.5 billion ± $1.5 billion, reflecting the view that supply shortages will persist for an extended period.
Micron Technology reported FY2026 fourth-quarter revenue of $54.2 billion, up 379% year on year and a record high. Strong demand was captured across all business segments, including DRAM and NAND, while both gross margin and EPS exceeded the upper end of guidance. Full-year revenue was therefore set to substantially exceed the previous record.
DRAM revenue reached a record $39.8 billion, up 343% year on year, with prices rising in the high-teens percentage range from the previous quarter. NAND revenue was $14.1 billion, up 526% year on year, with prices up approximately 30%. Data-center SSD revenue expanded sharply to approximately $10 billion, more than 10 times the year-earlier level.
All business segments reportedly reached record highs during the quarter. Growth was driven particularly by data-center demand and expansion in high-capacity DRAM, with the CDBU, CMBU, MCBU and AEBU segments each posting strong growth. Micron’s latest DRAM nodes are also affecting configurations for client and mobile applications.
The company has signed 26 strategic customer agreements (SCAs) covering more than 35% of revenue through 2030. Remaining performance obligations are approximately $150 billion, while financial commitments from customers have reached $32 billion. Capital expenditure is expected to be approximately $11.5 billion in FY2027 Q1 and approximately $25 billion in the first half, with further increases expected in the second half.
