大阪運輸倉庫 and 日本GLP held a completion ceremony for Marq Hirakata IV. The 4-story logistics facility will be used as a dedicated building for 大阪運輸倉庫 and is positioned at a key transportation hub in the surrounding area as a Keihan transit point.
A new logistics facility, “Marq Hirakata IV,” has been completed in Hirakata, Osaka Prefecture, with 日本GLP and 大阪運輸倉庫 involved in the project. The 4-story facility has a total floor area of 34,440 square meters and is located at the junction of the Keihan network and Route 1.
An inner truck driveway has been installed on the first floor, allowing the standard truck bay area to be used entirely as parking at all times and enabling operations with reduced noise and light while sheltered from rain and wind.
On the sustainability front, the facility uses LED lighting and equipment with motion sensors to support tenants’ sustainable initiatives.
大阪運輸倉庫 plans to use the new facility as a base for business expansion. Its position as a Keihan transit hub has been emphasized because it is located in an area where the Shin-Meishin Expressway, scheduled to fully open in 2027, intersects with the Daini Keihan Road.
