コナミデジタルエンタテインメント launched “SILENT HILL: Townfall” worldwide. The latest title in the series is set in a fog-shrouded Scottish town and features a first-person perspective and new elements.
The latest title in the series, “SILENT HILL: Townfall,” was released worldwide on 24 September. The psychological horror game is set in a Scottish town shrouded in fog and offers a new gameplay experience while retaining familiar elements of the series.
The title adopts a first-person perspective for the first time, creating an experience in which players feel the tension and fear more directly. The presentation in which players detect surrounding threats and fragments of a hidden story through a radio continues, with the radio transformed into a pocket television.
The game was exhibited at major events ahead of its launch, with displays allowing visitors to experience its world. At the Japan Game Awards 2026, held on 15 September, “SILENT HILL f” received an Award for Excellence in the annual works category.
The company said it will continue to communicate the appeal of the “SILENT HILL” series to more people.
