WingArc1st Inc. announced that it will begin offering Dr.Sum DataCatalog, which centrally manages the meaning of data, on a freemium basis. The major upgrade Dr.Sum Ver.6.0, the first in 9 years, will also be launched simultaneously, enabling aggregation at speeds of up to 12 times faster and connectivity with generative AI.
WingArc1st Inc. announced that it will begin offering Dr.Sum DataCatalog on a freemium basis from 1 October. The product centrally manages and enables searches of the location and meaning of internal data, as well as administrator information. At the same time, the company will launch Ver.6.0, a major upgrade of the data management platform Dr.Sum.
The new DataCatalog integrates and manages business and technical metadata, enabling AI to refer to the meaning of data and its terms of use, thereby supporting the democratization of data use. Ver.6.0 strengthens the operating environment by centralizing generative AI connectivity and the collection, processing and management of data, with the aim of building an AI-Ready data environment for the age of AI.
As pricing information for the simultaneous release, the company announced a licensing structure starting at ¥150,000 per month, excluding tax, for the cloud version and ¥3,600,000, excluding tax, for the package version. DataCatalog is available in the cloud version, supporting the organization of data definitions and reliability, which are prerequisites for using AI.
