ROHM raised its full-year FY2024 earnings forecast, revising net income to a ¥45 billion profit and net sales to ¥550 billion. Demand for automotive, industrial equipment and server applications is exceeding expectations.
ROHM said on the 5th that it had raised its consolidated earnings forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2027, revising net income from a ¥29 billion profit to a ¥45 billion profit and increasing net sales from the previous forecast of ¥510 billion to ¥550 billion. Demand in the automotive, industrial equipment and server markets is running above expectations.
The energy-efficient businesses centered on SiC (silicon carbide) also remain solid. ROHM said the timing of the full-scale start-up of its Miyazaki No. 2 plant has not yet been determined.
The interim consolidated financial results for the six months ended September 2026, announced at the same time, showed net income of ¥15.5 billion, up 51.0% year on year, and net sales of ¥279.4 billion, up 14.4%.
The upward revision reflects continued broad-based demand from the automotive, industrial equipment and server markets, while the supply structure for SiC-related products is believed to be stabilizing.
