Season 1 will launch at 00:00 on 28 October as a competitive arena, with seasons changing approximately once a month. Ranks will range from Beginner to Platinum, with a rank for each band and players matched with others who have selected the same band.
Gekisou Arena will offer daily rewards, rank promotion rewards and season rewards. Players are also expected to be able to exchange daily rewards for items such as an "SSR Guaranteed Gacha Ticket," and special login bonuses will be available.
The Halloween event will run from 12:00 on 28 October to 14:59 on 7 November. An item gacha using items from event-limited missions and an event gacha will be held, featuring limited-time SSR members and snaps. SR members and SR snaps will be available as event rewards.
New cover songs have also been announced. An event challenge song will be added at 12:00 on 28 October, followed by another addition at 15:00 on 2 November. A campaign commemorating the addition of the special cover song "Abracadabra" will include login bonuses, limited-time missions and stamp-pack sales.
