NVIDIA reported substantial increases in revenue and profit. Expanding data center demand and growing AI investment by general enterprises are cited as evidence that the AI boom will continue for the long term.
NVIDIA reported its results for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending January 2027, posting revenue of $96.221 billion and operating income of $63.734 billion, both substantially higher than in the same period a year earlier. Revenue and operating income also increased from the first quarter.
The company continued to see solid demand for data center products, with sales to hyperscalers performing well both quarter on quarter and year on year. The AI cloud, industrial and enterprise businesses also continued to grow on a quarterly basis.
This suggests that the AI agent boom is beginning to spread to general enterprises, pointing to a long-term expansion in AI investment.
