The Oishii SAKE Walk, a sake-hopping event, will be held in the Higobashi, Yodoyabashi and Hommachi areas of Osaka, bringing together sake breweries and restaurants from across Japan.
The event will be held in Osaka for the first time. Thirty sake producers will offer sake at 26 locations, with each producer presenting at least 3 varieties and approximately 100 varieties in total.
Each ticket can be exchanged for 3 sake-and-food pairing sets, each consisting of one glass of sake (60 ml) and one dish recommended by the participating restaurant. The event will run from 12:00 to 16:00, with registration opening at 11:00. Advance tickets cost ¥3,500 and same-day tickets cost ¥4,000. A limited 1,000 tickets will be sold.
A talk show will be held at one of the venues, the Edobori Kodama Building. The event is organised by the Kansai Oishii SAKE Project. Kuroyanagi Shin (畔柳伸) of the operating company introduced feedback from visitors to previous events and invited attendees to enjoy pairings of sake from breweries gathering from across Japan and food.
