サイエンスアーツ announced a collaboration with NTT East and launched a system that uses the integration of Buddycom and MIMAMORI AI to send voice notifications to on-site personnel when anomalies detected by security cameras are identified. The system covers approximately 150,000 NTT East Gigarak Camera units and aims to accelerate initial on-site response.
サイエンスアーツ has launched a collaboration with NTT East for AI-based security notifications. The collaboration enables anomalies detected by security cameras to be immediately sent as voice notifications to on-site staff, creating a system designed to accelerate initial on-site response.
As the number of deskless workers increases at work sites, technology for detecting falls, intrusions and other incidents through the spread of video analytics AI has advanced, but delays in notifications have remained an issue. The latest collaboration aims to accelerate the digitalisation of on-site voice communications and take on-site digital transformation to the next stage.
The collaboration covers NTT East's Gigarak Camera service and uses MIMAMORI AI, which analyses footage from approximately 150,000 cameras cumulatively. When the AI detects an anomaly, it automatically sends a voice notification via Buddycom to on-site staff smartphones and nearby devices, enabling information sharing and requests for assistance to be handled on the same platform.
サイエンスアーツ positions Buddycom as on-site AI infrastructure and aims to expand its integration with generative AI, various sensors and business systems. The company envisions applications across a broad range of fields, including security, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and nursing care, and has stated a policy of improving on-site safety and productivity.
