According to US-based PhoneArena, Live Rewind and Siri Recap became available to try in watchOS 27.3 beta 1. Japanese is not supported, the features are unavailable to people under 18, and the final version is expected around December.
According to a report by US-based PhoneArena, watchOS 27.3 beta 1 for Apple Watch was released for developers, making both Live Rewind and Siri Recap available to try. Live Rewind displays the previous 15 seconds of conversation as text, and the displayed content can also be used to ask Siri questions or be saved. Siri Recap summarizes a day's conversations and displays the result in the Siri app.
Users must enable Live Rewind and Siri Recap in Settings. After Live Rewind is enabled, it can be activated by double-pressing the Digital Crown, while Siri Recap operates in the background to create summaries. Displayed text is designed not to remain unless it is saved, and summaries can also be set to be automatically deleted after approximately 7 days.
In Japan, Japanese is not currently supported, and the features are available only in English. As a regional restriction, the EU, China and other regions are excluded at the initial stage, and the conditions also state that the features are unavailable to people under 18. No information has been provided on when Japanese will be supported, and English-only support is expected for the time being.
The release timing for the final version has not been announced, but PhoneArena reports that it is expected to be released in December. At present, only the developer beta is available, and migration from the beta to the final version is expected.
