トレードワークス cut its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the current fiscal year, lowering its full-year forecast to ¥300 million. The outlook for the second half was also significantly reduced from the previous plan. Although third-quarter results showed higher profit, the pace of revenue growth has slowed.
トレードワークス, which announced its results after the market close on 6 November, cut its consolidated ordinary profit forecast for the fiscal year ending December 2026 from the previous ¥480 million to ¥300 million. Ordinary profit was ¥250 million in the previous fiscal year, and the revised forecast points to a lower growth rate.
Consolidated ordinary profit for July-September, the latest three-month period, rose 13.9% year on year to ¥170 million, while the operating margin on revenue fell from 10.6% to 10.0%.
Following the interim downward revision, the plan for the second half calls for consolidated ordinary profit of ¥240 million in July-December, down from the previous forecast of ¥420 million. This implies a year-on-year decline.
In the revision to the current-year earnings forecast, revenue was set at ¥322.7 billion under the new plan, while forecasts for net income and per-share earnings were also cut.
