ダイジェット工業's ordinary profit for the first half reached ¥1.1 billion, prompting it to raise its full-year ordinary profit forecast by 50%, from the previous ¥1 billion to ¥1.5 billion. Second-half ordinary profit is expected to be ¥390 million.
ダイジェット工業 announced its earnings on 6 November, reporting a substantial year-on-year increase in consolidated ordinary profit for the April-September period. Revenue and operating profit also remained on an upward trend, while ordinary profit recorded particularly strong growth.
The full-year ordinary profit forecast was revised from the previous ¥1 billion to ¥1.5 billion, with the expected profit growth rate now significantly higher than previously forecast.
However, based on first-half results and the current-year plan, second-half ordinary profit is calculated to decline year on year to approximately ¥390 million.
In the most recent three-month period, ordinary profit for July-September surged to ¥570 million, while the operating margin also improved significantly.
