An XR experience using MR goggles will be offered over the 4 days of CHIMNEY TOWN HALLOWEEN 2026 in NAMBA at Namba Plaza in front of Nankai Namba Station, with King Kong Nishino Akihiro (キングコング西野亮廣) supervising the creative concept.
During CHIMNEY TOWN HALLOWEEN 2026 in NAMBA, an XR entertainment experience using MR goggles will be offered. The event will run from 15 to 18 October 2026 at Namba Plaza (in front of Nankai Namba Station).
For the XR experience, visitors will wear MR goggles and see digital art overlaid on lanterns and the streetscape of Namba, creating an experience that combines real-world scenery with a virtual world. The concept aims to express the event's creative vision: “The city dresses up.”
The project is positioned as part of efforts to realize the “Digital Entertainment City NAMBA” vision and is presented as an initiative that will contribute to the development of location-based entertainment (LBE).
Under the supervision of CHIMNEY TOWN, the organizers plan to continue creating urban experiences using advanced digital technology.
