Fujifilm announced that it will launch its latest instant camera, the instax mini Evo II, on 27 November. The camera features a 4.5-inch rear monitor, approximately 1.5 times larger than that of the previous model, in a design intended to enhance the immersive photography experience. It is the first Instax model to adopt a touchscreen LCD, enabling intuitive flash-setting adjustments. It also features a function that preserves the scene immediately before the shutter is pressed as a 5-second video.
The new product targets men in their 30s as its primary market, with the aim of expanding Instax's customer base. The price will be approximately ¥42,900 including tax. The presentation was held in Tokyo, where President Goto Teiichi (後藤禎一) said that photography is changing from a means of recording to a tool for communication. The report was carried by The Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun.
