On 22 October, Honda announced a minor model change for the Vezel, with sales scheduled to begin the following day, 23 October. The new model features a more urban and sophisticated design as well as enhanced comfort features, with the grand concept described as “MAXIMIZE URBAN VEZEL.”
The vehicle retains its coupé-like proportions and the cabin space enabled by the center-tank layout, while its 2-motor e:HEV hybrid system is designed to deliver smoother, more powerful driving. The aim is to maintain and enhance its reputation as an urban SUV suited to use from city areas to the suburbs.
The main exterior changes focus on giving the front face a more assertive appearance and pursuing urban elegance in higher grades. The inner headlight lenses are blackened across all grades, giving the front mask a more cohesive look. The core and higher grades also adopt a unified design, including wheel arches and bumper garnishes finished in the body color.
The e:HEV Z and e:HEV Z・PLaY packages adopt 18-inch aluminum wheels featuring a combination of machined bright finishes and black paint to create a premium impression. Changes to the lower accents and grille shape retain the vehicle’s presence as an SUV while emphasizing an exterior that blends with urban surroundings.
